I can’t believe how difficult it is to capture glitter on a photo, I get so frustrated! On my eye lid I’ve only applied glitter and I glitter more than a disco ball at the moment. It’s such a shame that I can’t highlight the effects, aren’t we in need of more glitter in these dark seasons? I really think so! So go on now, go ahead and sparkle ❤

Wanties – no needies!

Här har ni gott folk, mina wanties eller rättare sagt – mina needies som jag brukar kalla dem. Att min födelsedag bara är några veckor ifrån gör väl inte timingen till detta collage till det sämsta moahaha. Denna gången kan jag faktiskt inte rangordna produkterna, jag vill ha alla lika mycket förutom nr 1 som jag vill ha lite lite mer än de andra. Följande text blir på engelska då många internationella läsare har hittat hit samt att det blev alldeles för rörigt och för mycket text när jag skrev på båda språken. Hoppas det är okej för er!

These products are my wanties or more correctly – needies as I usually call them. My birthday is also just a few weeks ahead, guess the timing couldn’t be better moahaha. The weird thing is that I really can’t rank these products, I want them all just as much besides from nr 1 that I want just a liiiitle bit more than the others. The following text will be in english since a lot of international readers have started to comment on my blog. Me so happy, I hope you all will stay!

1 I think my heart stopped a beat when I saw these pictures at LipGloss Bitch, I couldn’t stop my self from borrowing her pictures just to share with you. These goes on lika a lip gloss but dries matt and gives a velvet finish, like a rose petal. How can I express myself without sounding like a maniac. I don’t want these, I need these. They come in two shades, Red Velvet and Suedeberry and you can purchase them from Lime Crimes web shop.2 OPI – Lights Of Emerald City och OPI – Jinx are two beautiful nail polishes that have been on my wish list every since beautiful Purity-Sannas posted some notd using these. Lovely!

3 Just some of the eyeshadow/pigments I truly want from the fabolous Fyrinnae. Say hello to: Aztec Gold, Sleepy Hollow, Fyre & Ice och Hypercool.

4 Guerlain in Cherry Swing and in Bubblegum are two of the shades from the Gloss d’Enfer Maxi Shine line that I really really want – or wait, I said need didn’t I?

5 Isadoras Eyephoria line has taken me by BIG suprise. For these kind of metallic shades I always wait until more than a handfull of bloggers have swatched them before I purchase. Just because the pictures can me so misleading in some cases. But seriously, every swatch I’ve seen have made me fall head over heels for every shade, take a look for your selves. Beleza-Tina, Wysteriia-Cecilia and Frida Skoglund are all to blame for my craving. I mean c’moon, how gorgeous can it get? I want them all, every single on of them!

6 Turquoise have been a favourite colour of mine since I can remember and I had forgotten how much I wanted Yves Rocher eyeliner in Turquoise until I saw Fröken Rosa-Des turquoise pencil comparison.

7 Honi-Anna mentioned this sponge chief from Sensai in her v-blog regarding her monthly favorites. She mentioned that she uses this cloth to remove different types of cleansers and masks from her face. I’ve always felt that it is a hell of a job removing some masks from my face. You know, you always have to bend your back over the sink for like five minutes just to get the damn thing off. Okey, I might me exaggerating but wouldn’t this cloth still help in a way? Making things a little bit easier? How ever, the beauty-guru inside of me claims that she needs to try this one out. Shall I blame her?

ELF Beauty book – Glitter Eye, 67 kr.

Beautyboken är det ultimata för resor och ”ska-iväg-men-har-inte-tid-att-packa-med-mig-smink”-tillfällen. Boken innehåller spegel, 12 ögonskuggor, en kajal och en ögonskuggapplikator med två skumgummiändar. Denna glitterversion skulle jag inte vilja påstå är i det glittrigaste lagret, som ni även kan se på bilderna. Jag älskar att de har med en kajal då man lätt kan gå från en dagsmakeup till en kvällsmakeup genom att måla vattenlinjerna och sota lite under ögat. Jag älskar verkligen denna bok, tycker att den är klockren och innehåller både neutrala och lite mer power-färger så att man kan blanda fram olika kombinationer hej-vilt! Det enda minus som denna bok har är omslaget, det är verkligen fantastiskt tjusig men den är verkligen glitterbombad och glittret faller ganska lätt av så akta er för vart i väskan ni packar denna om ni inte vill ha discoglittriga kläder. Det går lätt att lösa genom att packa ned den i en påse men var försiktiga under själva sminkningsmomentet så att ni inte får en massa glitter på händerna som ni sedan sprider ut lite här och var i ansiktet. För 67 kr kan jag inte annat än älska denna bok, jag kommer även definitivt kolla in de andra bok-versionerna som finns!

This beauty book is the ultimate palette for travels or ”I-don’t-have-time-to-pack-my-make-up”-occasions. The book contains a mirror, 12 eye shadows, an eyeliner pencil and a small eye shadow applicator with two sponge ends. I wouldn’t say that this glitter version is the most sparkling thing I’ve seen, as you can tell from the pictures but it’s enough to the shadows a little twist. I love the fact that they’ve included an eye liner that can help you to turn your daily look into a party look with just applying the liner in your water lines and under your eye. I really love this book, I think the colours are great for creating different looks and the mirror inside is really useful. The only thing I can complain about is the cover, it’s really adorable but it’s really bombed with glitter and the glitter separates easily from the cover. That means you have to pay attention when your packing your bag with this book for your travel because you might end up having with a lot of glitter on the clothes. Or just be careful touching the cover when your doing your make up so you don’t end with a lot of glitter on your face. For the cheap price and the nice quality, I can’t do anything beside to live this book and I will definitely check out the other books that are available.

Express yourself

Först och främst vill jag be om ursäkta för den obefintliga uppdatering som råder. Jag jobbar så mycket om dagarna att jag knappt får tillräckligt med sömn när jag kommer hem. Det finns många jag träffar som tycker att smink inte har någon kraft, att den är obetydlig. Smink är ett intresse som får den intresserade att vilja utforska kring färger mer. Hur kan man framhäva det vackra ännu mer? Det handlar inte om att vara snygg för mig, det handlar om uttryck. Smink är enligt mig en konst, det handlar om färger och inte bara färger i sig utan färgkombinationer, vinklar och precision. Hur gör man något vackert ännu vackrare?

Titta på dessa fantastiska tjejer, jag tycker inte någon av de ser hemska ut utan smink. Nej, de ser ut precis som du och jag. Titta istället på hur de ser ännu vackrare ut med färg, vad uttrycker de? Elegans, pondus eller lekfullhet? Smink handlar alltså om uttryck för mig. Titta på dessa vackra tjejer och fråga er själva hur mycket skillnad lite färg kan göra, vilken kraft den besitter. Våga uttryck er! Dessa bilder har jag hittat på Facebook och jag vet tyvärr inte vems dessa bilder är.

Make up is to me about expression, not about ”hey-I-wanna-look-hot”. Make up is an art which is all about colors, the combination of them, angles and precision. Lots of people I’ve met have claimed that make up doesn’t have any impact, any power. Look at these beautiful girls without any make up be more beautiful with expression by colors. 2011’s Swedens national make up competition, the theme was the 80’s disco. I think it was a worthy winner but I would like them to have more elements to really prove their talents. Also I would have liked to hear the statement from the jurys, why they picked her to be the winner =) Guess you can’t have it all!
